The vineyard has about 20 species growing in East, Central Asia, North America. This is a woody deciduous liana, rising along the support due to the twisting antennae. Leaflets are simple, 3-5 lobed, whole, cirrus or palmate, on long petioles. A short-flowered vineyard does not tolerate dry air, heat, it is medium-hardy, therefore it is used for interior or container decoration. Propagated by cuttings, seeds, also layering.

The variety of this vineyard "Elegans" is very decorative - the small leaves of the vine are covered with white and pink spots, and in the fall they turn golden.

The fruit-berries of the vineyard are pale lilac, ripen by the fall and become turquoise.

Multi-leaved Vineyard

Variegated vineyard (Ampelopsis heterophylla) is found in southern Sakhalin, Ussuriysk, the Kuril Islands, Japan, northeast China, and Korea. Usually it can be seen in the river valleys.

This vineyard is very interesting due to its beautifully dissected leaves and light blue berries. When the vineyard ripens, it also looks spectacular because of the pale bluish-purple berries with black dots. Berries look great on the bright background of autumn reddish foliage.
